New Library Computer System
The new system is not yet working. Our consortium has not finished setting it up. We can still check items in and out, it just will not show up in the catalog. Thanks for your patience! In the meantime, stop by the Book Sale at the Branch.
New Integrated Library System
We are getting upgraded! The Shelton Library System and the rest of our library consortium will be changing over to our new Integrated Library System at the end of next week. Huntington History 101
Shelton Municipal Historian Robert Novak Jr. introduces Huntington’s fascinating history to residents and visitors of all ages. At the Huntington Branch Library on Wednesday, May 18th at 6:30PM.
New Passes Added
2 new museum passes are available at the Branch. The Friends of the Shelton Libraries have donated the pass to the Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk, and the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield donated a pass to their wonderful building.
Plumb Book Sale
Buy some books for yourself and support the Friends of the Shelton Libraries- What a deal! 5/12 6-8PM, $5 to get in. 5/13 10AM-8PM. 5/14 10AM-4PM, half-price. 5/15 12-4PM, $5 per bag- supplied by the library.
New Ukraine Blog Post
Our volunteer and Peace Corps member Cassie Philp has created a new post for our blog about her work in Ukraine.
A New Kitchen
Thanks to the original Friends of the Library, we have a beautifully remodeled kitchenette at the Branch. The appliances are from Jeff's Appliance and Vacuums. Thanks to Chris Potucek and the City crew for the great work. The public can now have access to the appliances and we can have even better programs…
